Weekend, part 1.
November 24, 2014
Hi friends! What a beautiful weekend we just had. The November weather here in Zurich has been amazing. Carl came back from New York on Friday (he has already left again, in Dublin this week) and we just had a quiet night at home, dinner and then some yoga for me. On Saturday we went to the yearly Swedish Christmas markets and then some shopping and sushi in the Old Town. It is so nice with all the Christmas decorations up! Carl and I went out for dinner on Saturday night and yesterday we celebrated my birthday but more pics from that later… Hope you’ve all had a good start to the week ❤

Hi friends! Hope you’ve had a beautiful day. We’ve had such lovely weather here in Zurich this week. Each morning after I walk the boys to school I walk through the park and sit down for a few minutes to meditate under a tree before going back home to write. Even though it takes a few more minutes before my work day starts it’s such a nice feeling and always puts me in a good mood. I had two meetings this morning and then picked up the boys at 12. We had a picnic lunch in the park, then took the tram to the city to look at the Christmas decorations – and buy winter shoes for the boys. Tomorrow’s Thursday and I’m going to the hairdresser’s, yay! And only 2 more sleeps until Carl’s back from New York…

Our week.

Hi friends! Hope you’re all having a beautiful weekend. I’ve had a pretty quiet week since I still don’t feel 100 %… Last night we went out for dinner with friends and tomorrow morning we have brunch at our place, more pics of this in my next post. Here are some snapshots from earlier this week… Have a lovely evening, Carl just cooked an amazing dinner, now Ben & Jerry’s and a movie before bed ❤

I love spending Saturdays in the city with the family. This morning I went for a run before breakfast, then we all went to a Swedish flea market, had lunch in the Old town followed by some shopping on Bahnhofstrasse. We took the tram to Viaduct to buy some food for dinner and to look around the clothes markets there. Actually bought some Swedish designs at Cos and Nudie! Dinner (seared tuna and oven-roasted potatoes) at home and then popcorn and freshly squeezed orange juice for the boys’ movie night…
Our week.
October 20, 2014
Here are some pics from last week. The boys are back at school today after a 2-week autumn break. We had a wonderful holiday but it also feels so good to be able to work again, I am
so much happier when I get to focus on my projects. Carl was travelling all of last week and this week he’s away as well. I am so used to being alone with the boys and it’s much easier now that they’re back at school but I must admit it gets lonely at night. I try to go to bed early and get some extra sleep while he’s away. We had swimming lessons today so the boys were very tired and are already asleep. Time for me to catch up on some housework and then prepare for my work day tomorrow… Good night ❤
Our day.

I was working from the kitchen this morning as we had some electricians here to assemble a couple of new lamps in the living room, where I usually sit. The boys made this year’s first ginger bread cookies after lunch! Afternoon excursion with Noah’s best friend from school, Dennis , earlier and now I’m preparing for a conference call at 9. Carl is on a plane back from London…
